In 2022, Greece announced mandatory electronic invoicing for business to government supplies ('B2G'), however a decision regarding the timelines for implementation of same has recently been published as follows:

• Supplies to some of the largest government agencies (e.g. Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Digital Transformation etc.) will be introduced by the end of 2023.
• Supplies to all central government agencies by 1 January 2024.
• Supplies to all other government authorities by 1 June 2024.
• Other expenditure of the government by 1 January 2025.
