UK - Increase of the VAT registration and de-registration threshold

UK announced that the VAT registration and de-registration threshold will change from 1st April 2024.

VAT registration threshold will increase from GBP 88,000 to GBP 90,000 and the threshold for de-registration will increase from GBP 83,000 to GBP 88,000.

For Northern Ireland, the registration and de-registration thresholds for acquisitions will increase from GBP 85,000 to GBP 90,000.

This measure was announced as part of the UK's Spring Budget for 2024 to support small businesses.
